This section answers some frequently asked questions about Wake-On-Lan or Wake-On-Wan
Most of these network devices do not support Wake-On-Lan to wake other machines. You may ask the vendor for an updated firmware but most often you have to live with that limitation.
Verify that your server hardware supports Wake-On-Lan. Verify your BIOS settings on your server. Install the latest network driver and verify your network card settings.

See answer above when connected by LAN. When you use a WLAN connection (wireless) you need either drivers which support wireless Wake-On-Lan or Windows 7 on your notebook.
